Hi I’m just getting started with Modx and am trying to install it on my Mediatemplate grid server , I’ve entered all of the database information correctly (host, user, password) and already have a database ready to go with the correct permissions set.
I’m still getting an error though when trying to test the connection.
Does anyone have any idea if there are any specific issues with installing modx on a grid server or could possibly shine some light on what is going on ?
server details
php 5
mysql 5.1
using chrome to do the install
thanks in advance ,
I use media temple, what error are you getting? Did you make sure your domain is set to use PHP 5?
I twitch because I care....and drink too much coffee.
man , within minutes of posting this I tried the install in firefox and it worked ok , must be something to do with chrome.
sorry but it looks like it’s sorted now , strange really
