I’m not sure what this type of popup window is called (JS or jQuery popup?), but I can’t find a solution anywhere. I would like to find a type of popup window that works very similar to the maxigallery popup, except with text inside instead of images, so I can place explanations or information in it when a user clicks on it (or hovers over it perhaps. kind of like those annoying hover advertisments you see everywhere.). Anybody know of something like this or how to accomplish this?
Yeah that’s pretty much exactly what I need. Thanks.
I wish there was a modX package for it though. Hopefully integrating it into modX will go smoothly. I hate it when I have to manipulate code to make it work.

There really isn’t anything to it. Just use Jot or Ditto or something to generate the blocks of content as desired, then apply the CSS and JQuery to it. Depending on how complex the content is, Jot with some minimal parameter options may very well be the simplest way to go.
