    Hi all.
I’m preatty new with Modx, and i choose ModxRevolution.

I’m trying to develop in local, after did things on the server online.

I copied all the files from my public_html folder to /a/path/in/local/, and dumped the mysqlDb and mounted in local with the same name.

I modified /core/config/config.inc.php putting my local configuration for db.
Accessing the manager from localhost/mypath/tomodx/manager, was not working, so I changed all the MODX_xxxx_PATH definition, from /home/user/public_html/... to /Users/myUser/Sites/... the page load but all the inclusions: the files cannot be found because pointing to the wrong folder (ex. to localhost/manager/... , localhost/connectors/...)

I entered the db too, and changed the main workspace path, but still same problem.

    ¿ help ?

Try doing an upgrade install on the new site. If you remember what you did, it’s probably a good idea do undo your changes first.

        Thanks for the reply.
What do you mean with an upgrade install ¿
Is there a built-in functionality to do this ?

You probably removed the setup directory when you installed.

You need to put it back, then go to yoursite.com/setup to rerun the installation, but with "upgrade" checked rather than "new install." Your content will still be there, but the paths should be straightened out.
