    Hi everybody - i need help!

    it’s a MODx 1.0.2 installation

    i wanted to backup the site, but before that i wanted to check something and added a parameter to a MaxiGallery call ( &childgalleries_order_direction=`createdon` and changed &childgalleries_order_by from DESC to ASC )

    because i don’t think this is MG related, i post it here.

    after saving the ressource i got Parsing errors:

    main content editing field:
    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/******/public_html/manager/includes/header.inc.php:7) in /home/******/public_html/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php on line 2732

    and the frontend:

    can anyone help me? this is urgent ... i’ll check PHP & MySQL versions // maybe i don’t even have a current backup from that site shocked

    thanks, j

    // i guess it’s PHP 5.2.12 - MySQL Server Version: 5.0.90-community - MySQL-Client-Version: 4.1.22

    phpMyAdmin says for modx_site_content "in use" and no other information as the other tables ( MyISAM / utf8_general_ci / etc. ) can i somehow repair that table...and maybe undo the changes i made on that ressource?

      Sounds like MySQL corruption. I’d still back up a couple of snapshots of the database THEN try fixing it - http://www.databasejournal.com/features/mysql/article.php/3300511/Repairing-Database-Corruption-in-MySQL.htm - hope that’s of some help...

        1. Use phpMyAdmin to backup the database. (Export .sql)
        2 http://www.google.se/search?hl=en&q=phpmyadmin+repair+crashed+table
        Repair modx_site_content table!

              Also check Add DROP TABLE / VIEW / PROCEDURE / FUNCTION / EVENT
              + Check Save as file

              Then » repair it and
              if that doesn’t do it e-mail it to me and I have a look. DM me on twitter for e-mail in that case. smiley

              //repair all tables!

                      Hi Jahn,

                      I use Hostgator as a host and when they update php or mysql versions trouble is afoot. When my client edited their site the first time, it broke the sitecontent table forcing modx parse errors. It was a simple fix to just repair all tables in the site and all was good. The lesson for me was to go through all my sites on same host and repair all tables in advance of the site crashing.

                      Food for thought.

                      -Noah
