Breaking News flag, how to achieve it?

Hi folks,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to achieve a Breaking news flag (usually located in the header of the page being viewed) that only appears when there’s a breaking story on a website much like what you see on msnbc.com or cnn.com or foxnews.com.

I understand I would need a TV and some sort of mechanism to show or hide the div once the story is outdated.

How to achieve it is still a question, can anyone help?

Just think of it as a special kind of ditto call.

Have a container that holds all breaking news documents and instead of a special snippet have a ditto call to show one document with a filter to ignore all documents with a date older then current time minus a few hours (or any other time frame you choose).
