hi all,
i have setup the hosting account and waiting on my client to send me the domain details so that i can point it to the server.
I have copied the file to the server and setup the database, but I am getting the file not found when i go to http://myipaddress/install

When you say you copied the file to the site, did you unzip it on your local computer first?
You have to send then entire structure up, unless you have SSH access and can do it there, but even then I would recommend to FTP it up.
yes, i have unzipped the files and ftp them up.
How have you setup the account ?? where is it hosted ??
If you are using WHM then surely the url would be www.reselletaccount.com/~username
From my understanding going to yourip.com/install would mean that the files need to be in the root reseller account ??
Bit more info on the environment your using and who is hosting the domain would get a better reply.

Then they are probably using a shared host, with multiple clients on the same IP address. You would need to have the username and go to http://ipaddress/~user/install or something like that.
Again, you will need to get that information from the client or their host.
If you FTP’d then the username will probably match the username in those settings.
Your mileage may very.
The best guess is that you FTP’d the files to the wrong place.
On a shared server, the usual place for them is your \public_html folder.
