Wayfinder templating help...

Trying to learn how to template Wayfinder. From what I gather, I’m supposed to create chunks for each "level" of templating I want to do. I’ve done that, but when Wayfinder outputs, it’s outputting the text of the placeholder rather than what should be taking the place of the placeholder.

Here’s my chunk (it’s titled ’wf_rowTpl’):



Here’s my Wayfinder call:



The output that I get is this:




IOW, Wayfinder is outputting "[+wf.wrapper+]" instead of the links.

There is a mistake in your Wayfinder call.

This is your call (in bold the mistake)
[[!Wayfinder? &sortBy=`pagetitle` &rowTpl=`wf_rowTpl`]]

This is the correct call. (Exclamation mark tell wayfinder to run uncached)


Another example (Double square brackets tell wayfinder to run cached)


You can’t have exclamation mark and double square brackets together. Try both cached and uncached solution. It should work.

Are you using Wayfinder for 1.0 Evolution, or 2.0 Revolution? The snippet tags are correct for an uncached Revolution snippet, but the placeholders are Evolution tags.
