Hi All,
I’m fairly new to modx but have found it to be invaluable.. I’ve changed the ’publications’ subfolder of my site over to modx, I may change the rest over at a later date. I’ve always used www.xml-sitemaps.com to generate a sitemap.xml and never had any problems.. but it doesnt see to be liking the wayfinder urls.. and I’m not really sure whats going on.
I’ve attached the sitemap, and the site is www.wheatcroft.com.au the modx subfolder is www.wheatcroft.com.au/publications/ (if you check it out - please keep in mind my site design isnt finished, I thought I’d submit it now and then pretty it up while google is indexing it)
To explain, wayfinder returns a ul with 4 parents, each with several children. xml-sitemaps.com lists all 4 parents, but only lists the children belonging to the 4th parent. I’ve tried &useWeblinkUrl=`FALSE` (even though I’m not 100% sure what it does) but the result is the same.
I am using &hideSubMenus=`TRUE` - maybe this is causing problems?
looking on the xml-sitemaps.com forum, listing your internal urls differently (ie: www.domain/subfolder and domain/subfolder) can cause problems. and the wayfinder urls are relative, whereas my other internal sitelinks are absolute (Generally) but I’m not sure that that is whats causing the problem.
If this is just a quirk with xml-sitemaps.com’s crawler.. and I’d be happy to just use something else (suggestions?) but is this indicative of a deeper problem?
oh by the way, I’m using friendly urls on a zeus server, but the rewrite script is working fine, so I dont think that has anything to do with this problem.
Any thoughts?

&hideSubMenus will only generate a child menu when you are "in" that section of the site. I would suggest getting rid of that parameter, and use CSS to hide/show the child menus instead.
