I have an Evolution site where I store images, and I want the general public to be able to browse the images, but if a user wants to download the source file of the image, they need to be logged in. The source file is connected to the template via TV and presented to the user as a link. I added [!WebLogin!] to the template, created a resource group with a single user in it, then checked the box for that resource group in the Access Permissions portion of the TV. So in theory, the user must be logged in to have access to the file in the TV. Yes?
It didn’t work. You can still download the source file whether you’re logged in or not. Am I going about this all wrong? Does the Access Permissions section of the TV only affect manager users and not web users?

my quick resolution:
don’t store the images as files.
store them inside your database (yep, custom database).
then create the snippet to connect that (yep, big size) database with the permission groups.
