Adding photos to content

Hi! I’m new to ModX.
I have a content, that only some users can edit.
It has one template variable [*image*] where user puts a photo.
Is it possible to show second template variable [*image2*] when user puts a photo in the first? Then show the third when second is set, and so on (like in Drupal).
Could it be done with jquery?
Is it even possible to modify backend (tabs, sections, content, ...) with jquery? If yes, how and where?

yes, with the ManagerManager plugin
