[SOLVED] Question: Case sensitive URL Issue

Ok, my client wants to have a nice short URL for a page.. so we use a weblink for these. However in the 1.x release this seems to work fine, but with a twist. We can’t force capital letters.

http://www.4nsi.com/3RTC-2010 <-- does not work
http://www.4nsi.com/3rtc-2010 <--- does work

I’ve looked into this guide http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Friendly_URLs_Guide#Non_case-sensitive_urls

We have older weblinks made in the 9.6 release and those can be mixed case. Any thoughts?

Take a look at the transalias plugin’s configuration tab. The trans table is most likely set to utf8lowercase. Change that to utf8 and make sure that Restrict alias is not set to lowercase
