[SOLVED]"&" (ampersand) is not properly converted to "&" in template vars

Hello,

I have some text in template variables (i.e. the title, description, pagetitle etc.) which contain the "&" sign (ampersand). When validating the page against XHTML standards (http://validator.w3.org/) I get the following error message:

Line 42, Column 72: character "&" is the first character of a delimiter but occurred as data

…="hello.htm" class="link">some text & more</a></p>

How do I make ModX convert the character properly?
