Using Ajax To Query / Pull Data From Two Databases

Hey Guys,

I have a site that has both an internal site search (ajax) and another cutomized product internal search (using a different database). My client wants to use the Internal Ajax Search to pull from both databases and display the results. Is it possible to do this using the Ajax Snippet?

Do you mean the Ajax search snippet? Probably not... it’s keyed to query the MODx database. If you need to search another database, you’d have to adjust the Snippet and your MySQL users/perms.
