We have moved a website over to live, the front end is all working fine but the manager is just a blank page. The hosting is exactly the same as the development platform (same server)

The process for moving to live was the same as we do it any other time

Upload the default install to the server
Run the install to create the database
Update the blank database to the the new content
Upload the altered files / images/ css etc

this normally works but thsi time around the manager just will not appear.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Run the installer in Update Mode and it should resolve this issue. If it doesn’t I would check to make sure all the manager files were uploaded/transferred, there may be a corrupt file.

Can anyone help with this? I have the exact same issue in Revo.

I moved a site to my server. Ran the installation and imported the database.

The site all shows up fine, but when i visit /manager/ the page is just blank.

I have reinstalled to no avail. I have also manually copied over the manager files too, but still no luck.

Now I have another 3 modx sites all operating from this server and they all work perfectly.

        Apache version 2.2.16
        PHP version 5.2.14
        MySQL version 5.0.92-community

Check the values in the core/config/config.inc.php file and those in the four config.core.php files in these locations:

          § MODx root directory
          § /manager/
          § /connectors/
          § /setup/includes/

Except for .htaccess, those are the only places containing site_specific code.

There are also some paths in the database in the modx_system_settings table that could possibly need updating for the new location, though they should be updated during the setup. There’s also a possibility that it’s a permissions issue with some of the folders.
