Multi-lingual - Different domain for each language

Hi there,

I need to build a site that will be in two different languages. I’ve had a look through a lot of the documentation on multilingual sites, but I don’t think any of them have addressed the function that I require. I would like two different languages, but each one needs to have its own domain, and not just a different suffix (/en for example).

So I’d like language 1 to default to www.mysite.co.uk, and then the other language would go to www.mysitedifferentlanguage.co.uk.

Would it be possible to build this within the same installation? Or best to keep the sites separate? And what might be the best way to approach the multilingual aspect? Is there something in the modx core now?

With MODx Revolution subsites should be relatively easy with contexts:

With MODx Evolution subsites are possible but will require extra effort and there is some limitations:

Thanks for the response. I’m on Evo at the moment, so I think I’ll just keep them as separate sites.
