Is there a way to use MODx without having ini_set() switched on.
I am no expert on server security but my host would like to disable ini_set() to increase security however MODx returns an error when this is done and I wondered if there was a work around for this or if anyone could give me a little more information in general on this.
Many thanks
Ian

Does he allow you some other way of changing default php.ini settings, such as custom php.ini files where they are needed? In the case of MODx, you would need one in the site root for the main index.php file, and one in the manager directory for the manager’s index.php file.
