    Hello,

Im having a problem accessing pages outside of modx. In the site root i have a folder and when i navigate to it i can see the contents listed but as soon as i click on any of the php pages inside it takes me to my defined modx error page. How can i stop this?

    Thanks

Doesn’t sound very normal. First, you’re going to have to identify why the error page is being served if you navigate to an existing PHP page. There is no reason I can think of in a normal MODx deployment for this to happen. You mod_rewrite rules would have to be wrong for this to happen (IOW these rules normally allow any existing directory or file to be served; only non-existent files and directories would be directed to the MODx error_page.

        Hello,

        Thank you for the reply.

It only happens with php files and not .html files or images. As far as i know no one has made any changes to the mod_rewrite rules. (btw i am using friendly urls if that matters)

Is there anything i can check for? (As you can tell i don’t know much about this)
        Thanks

If the php files exist as requested on the server, then it should not be rewriting the request to MODx. These other php files don’t have their own rewrite rules that are being hijacked by the MODx ones do they?
