Hi,
I’m about to go live with my first MODx site ... in fact my first site ever ... and I’m getting worried about security.
I’ve done a fair amount of reading and googling but this is all new to me and there is so much to take in its making my head spin.
What are the obvious steps I should take to make my site secure?
What questions do I need to ask the webhost company I’ll be using?
Any advice appreciated,

The single most important question you should ask is whether register_globals is off by default (or can easily be turned off).
