Hi all
First time Modx User and I have a (hopefully)simple question. What is 1.0 Legacy MODx Host template including dropdown menu? And do I need it if I want an absolute basic install? I want to build from scratch with no demo templates installed if possible so what should I check/uncheck in the install?

The "legacy" template is the one used for the demo content. If you don’t want it, don’t check the box for it or for the demo content. You can also remove its folder in the assets/templates folder.
I would recommend installing everything else (chunks, snippets, plugins, modules), though.
