So far i’m doing well with modx and have now almost fully converted a club website to modx integrating many of my own php scripts and using ditto etc to create news pages and so on. Just have the photo gallery page to complete. This is where i thought i’d ask about the many options for this that seam to be available. I could convert my own gallery to work with modx (in time) However im looking at solutions that are currently avilable. I’ve checked out the extras areas and have seen these so far:
Easy 2 Gallery, Gallery 2, MaxiGallery, Gallery 0.1 Beta, Mini Gallery, Photo gallery plus.
Which are the favoured galleries / most popular?
I would like a simple gallery that administrtors of the website would be able to understand and use when i hand it over to them. Rather than me spend the next week trying out each gallery what would be the best advice from you all? Whcih ones should i go for first?
thanks,
Al
ok, i now have a copy of the modx book and it has a section on using maxi gallery so i will try this first as it seams to be popular. Are there any working examples of the other galleries that were on my list above?
