My ModX installation ran fine, and the site was up running and fully functional for several months.
I needed to change the MySQL DB password, so I did so.
When to the config.inc.php file and updated the password there.
Now the front end works fine.
When attempting to access the manager I see this:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /nfs/c02/h11/mnt/42607/domains/curbsidesplendor.com/html/manager/includes/config.inc.php:1) in /nfs/c02/h11/mnt/42607/domains/curbsidesplendor.com/html/manager/includes/config.inc.php on line 60

I’ve made no changes w/ ssh to file access or anything like that.
Any ideas how a db password change could have started this and/or how to fix?

Sounds like you added extra whitespace either before the opening <?php or after the closing ?> tags in the config.inc.php file when editing it.

If you edited it with a text editor using UTF8, it may have added the dreaded BOM at the beginning of the file. Make sure if your editor is in UTF8 that it doesn’t include the BOM.
