      Thanks for trying.

      This is so strange that it requires the help of MODx gurus and spirits.

      Spirits and Gurus of MODx lend me your ears.
      What happens to a document when it is being saved that can influence the document’s inclusion into a filtered Ditto call?

        Did some more digging about MODx cache and tried the following to rebuild the cache in the hopes that the imported documents will get included. Also unsuccessfully.

        So it all boils down to how can a document be imported into MODx outside of using the manager to create it? Seems like a common scenario when migrating existing sites to MODx.
        Any ideas?

        Here’s the code copied from document processor.

        <?php

        // empty cache
        include_once $modx->config[’base_path’]."manager/processors/cache_sync.class.processor.php";
        $sync = new synccache();
        $sync->setCachepath("assets/cache/");
        $sync->setReport(false);
        $sync->emptyCache();

        ?>
