Before i Upgrade

    I have a site with about 1500 docs in it
    I really want to upgrade to evo 1.0.3 but i want the process to be easy.

    I want to know what all i should backup before i attempt to upgrade

      I would recommend installing the bkupMODx application/module; it can be run independently of MODx or as a module. It will produce a nice, neat zip file with your database backup and all your files.

      It does require that PHP have the zlib library installed; I have never run across a server that didn’t have this. In the Manager go to Reports, System Info. Click the "view" link for phpinfo, and at the top of the resulting display look for a with-zlib entry.
