I have a template which uses divs which contain background images (gradients). I seem to have no problem using the [content] tag to display text of any kind but cannot display images at all within those divs.

The layout looks fine within TinyMCE and the images show up as they should. The code used works in a standard html page but will not work within MODX when called from the browser via the internet. It just seems MODX does not like this code at all.

I have tried creating TVs for these images but the problem is I need several images per page (but even trying this method with just one still did not work).

I really am at a loss with this now. It seems to be that there is a conflict with the image used a background in my div. Is there any way around this???? If not, it seems to me that this makes MODX unusable for my sites.

Please help! I have been trying to sort this out for 2 days now.

I presume that your background gradient is handled with CSS background or background-image properties? If so, there is no reason why images shouldn’t be able to be put into those containers.
