    Hi all -

    if you go to whiteribbonvt.org

you can see a site i put together quickly for a local non-profit. The issue i’m having is that everything works fine, until you navigate to your first submenu. Once you’ve navigated to a submenu, any following navigation links you click on break the site.

for example... if you click on
    http://www.whiteribbonvt.org/index.php?id=2

and then hover over any other link, you see that it is now trying to send you to www.whiteribbonvt.org/whiteribbon/index.php?id=

breaking the rest of the links... any thoughts? Am i right to assume this might be somewhere in my "inner template"

    ?

    I appreciate the help.

Looks more like a server configuration/.htaccess issue. How is your MODx installed? Is it in your web root, or is it in a subdirectory named whiteribbon?

A look at the source of your page, and it has this
              <li><a class="active" href="http://www.tannermooredesign.com/whiteribbon/" title="Home">Home</a>

        That is exactly correct.

I developed the site originally at www.tannermooredesign.com/whiteribbon

and just recently pointed the domain name www.whiteribbonvt.org.

I do alot of development for wordpress and code standalone sites, but this is my first modx site and i can’t really figure out where i change the root site name to whiteribbonvt.org from /whiteribbon, it seems like it’d be a simple fix... thoughts?

currently my resource path and url are set to
        (PATH)/home/tannerm1/public_html/whiteribbon/assets
        (URL)http://www.whiteribbonvt.org/assets

do these need to be the same? if so how?

Ok, i think i fixed it.

my file manager path was set to /home/*******/public_html/whiteribbon/

i just cleared that out and saved it, so that i suppose it’ll just use the root of the site www.whiteribbonvt.org, seems to be working fine now.

          does this make sense?

Yes, if you changed things and didn’t clear your site cache, it would still have the old settings here and there.
