I am new to ModX and have not been able to figure out how to upload images at all. I have tried managing resources etc etc..

Is there an easy answer? It should be relatively simple after all... huh

Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

When you edit your content with TinyMCE there are a buttom to insert images. In the menu you can upload images.

        Thanks very much Henrik.

I have been trying that, but without success. I keep getting Error, "failed to upload file, internal error..."

With every other CMS I have used in the past, there is an area that keeps all the image and other resources, but even this I cannot seem to find. embarrassed

Any help at all would be most welcome.

Have you checked that the settings in "File base path" and the "File Browser URL" under Tools -> Configuration -> Interface & Features are correct?

In "File base path" I have:
          /home/www/domain.tld/assets/

And in "File Browser URL" I have:
          /assets/

If you still can’t see the images in the folders, then try to delete the files starting with ".thumb_" in the folders. (Please, make a backup before you’re deleting something...)!

In "File base path" I have:
            /home/www/domain.tld/assets/
