So I’m trying to put a drop down option in Jot so the person making a comment can choose from a drop down option. Here’s what I have for the Jot call:
[[Jot? &customfields=`name,email,city,state` &subscribe=`1` &pagination=`500` &badwords=`dotNet` &captcha=`1` &css=`0` &placeholders=`1` &output=`0`]]
In the Jot comment form, I have this among the default code for "chunk.form.inc.html":
<label for="state[+jot.id+]">State:</label><br />
<select class="state_selection" tabindex="[+jot.seed:math=`?+4`+]" id="state[+jot.id+]" name="state">
<option value="" selected="selected">Select a State</option>
<option value="[+form.field.custom.state:esc+]AL">Alabama</option>
<option value="[+form.field.custom.state:esc+]AK">Alaska</option>
<option value="[+form.field.custom.state:esc+]AZ">Arizona</option>
<option value="[+form.field.custom.state:esc+]AR">Arkansas</option>
....
</select>
In the Jot comment template, chunk.comment.inc.html, I have this among the default code.
<span class="jot-state">[+comment.state+]</span><br />
Problem is that the state chosen in the drop down is not showing up. Not entirely sure where I messed up setting up the drop down option. Anyone attempted to set up a drop down option in Jot?
