I recently moved my site from one host to another. everything appears to have been transferred fine except that when i go into modx and want to insert something from the files or images folders there’s nothing in there. anyone any ideas? i’m using modx evolution not sure which version so might be an upgrade issue although it worked fine before the server move.

Go into the configuration (Tools->Configuration) and in the Interface and Features tab check your path and url. The default url of "assets/" should be fine but make sure the path is correct for the new server.
