Is there any materials that would detail how to separate image folders to Manager Users? In this situation I will have Manager Users who will be uploading images which I would prefer each have their own image directory so as to be kept secure between Users. I would rather that different Manager Users not have the ability to edit each others images.

I’m am probably too dyslectic that I have not been able to find this in a search. Thanks

Go into Security > Manager Users. Click on a Manager you’d like to give their own folder for images.

Click on the User tab, then change the "File base path" to /modxroot/assets/images/userfolder and "File browser URL" to assets/images/userfolder/

Replace modxroot with your own root and create and 777 the ’userfolder’ folder under images.

You have to do this for each manager separately. If you want to do this for files too (like PDF and DOC etc) it still has to go under the images folder as I’ve tried doing it under files and it doesnt work (for me anyway).

Thank you pixelstation! I really appreciate this and also the info on the doc and PDF file types. It is helpful to know that too!
