    Hi all

I really need to get working on the users and their rights in my project.
I’m creating a school website, and every teacher needs his or her own blog. Of course, everyone may only post in his or her own blog.

I’ve been checking out the wiki: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Document_Access_Permissions
But from the start it goes wrong, the document reads:
When creating or editing a document in MODx, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page in the MODx Manager, you should see a section titled: Access Permissions.
The default option is: ’All Document Groups (Public)’ - there will be other options if you have created new document groups.

But I can’t seem to find that (I’m using evo 1.0.2)

Does anyone know where I can find good tutorials or documentation on this subject? (Users and their permissions)

    Greetings and thanks in advance
    Kenny

Ok, I already found a lot, so never mind the previous question (The permissions tab wasn’t showing because I hadn’t got the users, their groups and the pagegroups right yet at that time, but that’s fixed now)

Now I have one more problem. These users can only edit and add pages to their own blog page, but when they create a new page in the blog page (to create a new blog post), this new page doesn’t inherit the permissions of it’s parent but just becomes open to all users... Of course i only want the creators of the posts and some administrator users to be able to edit these posts...

      Any ideas?

      Greetings, Kenny.
