Template Variable File

I created a template variable called "swfFile" to upload a .swf types but it will not allow this. Any way around this?

Go into your manager user’s User tab and add that filetype to the allowed filetypes field, clearing the "use system defaults" checkbox. Unfortunately TVs don’t include a "media" or "flash" input type, just "images" and "files". And the Configuration doesn’t have a field for setting allowed file types, just images, media and flash.
