Folks, I’m going to use few snippets like NewsListing or NewsPublisher. I want the modx site administrator to add news that should be shown on the site.
Could you please tell me, how and where should I place a reference to the snippet to run it under administrator (to add news) and how and what to place on the site page to show few news to the site users.

Very appreciate any help. I’m newbie..

    Thanks and Regards

Install a new copy of MODx with the demo content included. It has a full blogging system set up that you can examine. Or go here http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,42191.0.html#lastPost and use PubKitBlog.

Thanks sottwell, but just confirm, does new version of ModX has a tool for snippets loading, correct? If I do not use newest updates then I have to use PubKitBlog?

        Thanks in advice.

The demo content has the required snippets already installed. The demo site is fully set up for blogging. It doesn’t use PubKitBlog; it uses an older snippet.
