I just installed modx on a wamp server for testing. I am also using virtual hosts. But the problem is that modx is so slow in the manager page. Any ideas as to why. I have mod-rewrite turned on on wmap but should be i looking for anything else?
Maybe because of firebug?
I disabled firebug and still the same thing. Also in internet explorer. Its very slow.

Try disabling the RSS feeds in "Configuration" > "Site"
