MODx Parse Error

I am trying to call the AjaxSearch snippet [!AjaxSearch? &debug=`1`!]....
however I get the following error ....

How do I rectify this....
I tried changing the file permissions.. without any luck

The "permission denied" tells you what the problem is; you have to have write permissions for that file. It’s a log file, and AjaxSearch needs to be able to write to it.

The folder and the file ... have set the permissions 777....
still no luck
