So I’ve set up a membership section of my site. Once the Web User signs into the membership area, I’m simply attempting to get their Full name to show up. I’ve tried various placeholders, but not sure if I need to use a snippet to get this to work. I’ve tried the "Personalize" snippet, but not getting anything to output...not sure where I’m goofing up. In the "Personalize" snippet, it has:
[[LoggedOrNot? &yesChunk=`Link` &noChunk=`Register` &ph=`name`]]
Where do I put the full name placeholder and what specifically do I put? i.e. [+username+]? And is "LoggedOrNot" the right snippet call?

You’ll need a snippet that returns the user’s full name. I think it’s in the SESSION, so it shouldn’t need to make a database call. There aren’t any placeholders unless there has been a snippet (or a plugin) to create them. MODx by itself does not provide any placeholders.

Thanks Susan for that info. I did a little research and was coming to that conclusion but was hoping for a simple placeholder or snippet

I’ll look around a little more. Thnx!

Probably should enclose that in a conditional...
<?php
if(isset($_SESSION['webFullname'])) {
return $_SESSION['webFullname'];
}
return;
?>
