Conditional Statements

I need to execute a ditto call but only on the condition that a template variable is of a certain value. Do I need a plugin / snippet to do this or is there something built in to Modx that will let me?

To me, PHx is what you’re looking for. It can be extremely useful. I am surprised that it’s not standard equipment - it’s that good, although I’ll admit that I don’t always have a need for it on a site.

phx would work ... but i guess, in that case something like ChunkIf http://www.codeistry.com/blog/2008/11/modx-snippet-chunkif/comment-page-1/ or TV Conditional http://modxcms.com/extras/package/?package=472 would be better, because as far as i understood, with a phx solution the Ditto call will be executed ( just not being displayed ) even though the condition says no

Input Type: Radio Options
no== ||yes=={{dittocall}}
asign it to your template

and your chunk {{dittocall}}
[!Ditto ... !]
