When I installed ModX I had a URL for a domain name. Now that my domain name has propogated all of my urls look like this:
http://93.28.219.420/~myname/information.html Instead of this:
http://www.MyDomain.com/information.html
I am using the: [(base_url)] tag in most of my pages and templates. I have looked for the config.inc.php and in the control panel, I do not see anywhere that I can change this. Somehow I have got to change the domain name (all other settings seeem to be fine).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This site is live now!
I changed the .htaccess file and now my url’s look like this:
http://www.apicsdayton.org/~myname/information.html. So I was able to get rid of the URL and actually enter my domain name. Now how do I remove the ~myusername/ area
Got it! Had to clear out my cache!
