TinyMCE image inserter fouling up

Hi all

A site running in 0963 has a wonky TinyMCE image inserter, but only when the client uses it ... I have no problems at all. (upgrade to Evo 102 is imminent btw)

Specifically, when client tries to insert a new image, the Image URL ’Browse’ button is not there - see image (literally a photo of the screen taken by client)



This is happening on MAC and PC - the client is working from within a very large/well known museum in London and i’m wondering if this is a firewall issue ..?
I don’t have this issue at all on any machines I’ve tested on.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Has anyone even experienced this sort of thing?

Never experienced this before. May be a permissions issue? Has he tried using different browsers, or trying from a different location? Not sure why firewalls would affect the image browser and nothing else.

Not too sure about this, someone may come along with a more intelligent answer but I thought I would chime in.

Thanks for the feedback - this is a wierd one I know, and yes they have tried on multiple browsers and, I beleive, different locations. I’m going to see the client tomorrow so will try to get further into this one.
I checked this again on pc and mac this morning and have had no prob ...

Solved it - client had been using accounts i created as a role of Editor with standard doc editing permissions. Somehow these were corrupted - don’t really know how, but the Doc content editor just went a bit scewed. So I made 2 new accts with same role permissions and the problem went away.
Afraid I can’t be more specific as I don’t understand why it happened.
