Newsletter for MODx?

Hi all!

I have a question.... What do you use for a newsletter module?
What is the *best pick* from your experience?

I’m using Easy Newsletter 0.3 but I think it’s now deprecated and has many security holes

Im using TXNewsletters, Ive got it all set up and people subscribing, but have not got as far as sending a newsletter yet So cant comment too much.

Seemend to be the Modx Newsletter app of choice when I was developing the site at the end of last year..

anyone else want to write their experience?

Does somebody know what is used on MODxcms site?

I prefer the DADA mailinglist (perl application). It’s quite simple to put the DADA management into a module.

Thanks Susan... I will give it a try

I tried it and seems cool

May I just comment the lack of multilanguage support

P.S. where and how can I add the link to the module within the MODx manager... I run this module thru the "Manage Modules" link

The link I provided has a post with the description of how it was done.

How about something like MailChimp? There’s a free account option depending on your needs. I just did a little write up on how to set it up with MODx. I honestly haven’t used the service much since I don’t send newsletters to anyone (yet) but it seems to have good reviews.

here’s a link to the post: http://bit.ly/9wiIkv

Do you know how to remove the link from the bottom of the newsletter (sent as a webpage) like this:

Unsubscribe:

Got Txnewsletter on a few sites built a while ago and it’s working great.

Aweber and constant contact are 2 others been adapting into some sites and they have top notch products for serious traffic newsletters
