Lets say I have a modx site that is currently on domain1.com but I want that exact same site to be on domain2.com What I want to do is move all the files to domain2.com. But the question is what files do I need to change on domain2.com so the site works.
are the domains on different servers or the same server? It depends on the various configurations, but you’ll want to edit manager/includes/config.inc.php to make sure you can connect to the new database, you’ll probably want to backup the database data and schema and move it to the new server, and you might want to edit the filemanager paths (in the manager config.)
They are in different domains
