    Hello

I’m having trouble with my new installation. Basically, any links to the blog are not available and the following error displays.

    « MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
    « PHP Parse Error »

    PHP error debug

    Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
    File: /home/canmorem/public_html/manager/includes/sniff/phpSniff.class.php
    Line: 22
    Line 22 source: require_once($modx->config[’base_path’] . ’manager/includes/sniff/phpSniff.core.php’);

    Parser timing
    MySQL: 0.0023 s (0 Requests)
    PHP: 0.0190 s

Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

Make sure that file did get uploaded; sometimes during the upload process files get skipped or corrupted.

        Hi susan

Thanks for the reply and help. I have checked those files are there and even uploaded them again. Now, I’m wondering if a fresh installation is better to do. I found this quite a long waiting process while uploading all of the files before (several times). Would you advise deleting all the files and uploading again, or should I just upload the install folder?

        Regards

        Andy

I would just try uploading the manager/includes/sniff folder. If you have time, re-upload the entire manager folder (but make sure to save your manager/includes/config.inc.php file safely elsewhere first, just in case).

            undecided Very frustrating.

I’ve just completed a fresh installation and the same error appears!

            Any ideas?
