    Hi,

A client wants to be able to show their website to a select number of people before going live.

if the website is in an offline state ( so you get the offline screen) is there a way to set up some kind of generic login so the people can login and view the site without being able to edit any of the documents?

    Thanks for reading

    Tim

You can create manager users and in the User tab give them a default login page, and disable Manager access. Also disable the QuickManager plugin.

        Thank you for the reply,

If i had 30 people would i have to make 30 manager user accounts? or could they all log in using the same account (at the same time)? is that possible?

Yes, as long as they’re only looking, one user should work fine.
