Nice one Shane! So, released in March after all! Brilliant. Hope this brings in even more users...

edit: Hmm, why do they still talk of expected April 2009?

cheers/k

Good point. They announced it over Twitter as being released already?

Twitter should be the most current I suppose

Amazon in the US is still showing it as not yet available...

I saw that too but you can pre-order it, which means it should be out before too long.

It will certainly be available before my MODx book is out.

Anybody knows the author?

Antano Solar John...

I thought your book was on Revolution.

Here is the tweet release: http://twitter.com/packtpub/statuses/1400760140

Our MODx book has been publsihed today: http://tinyurl.com/5k4b7k, congrats to author Antano Solar John

To answer my own question:

Here is his LinkedIn profile: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/dir/antano%20solar/john

and his website: http://www.antanosolar.com/

I will probably get the book unless we hear from early readers that its a dud.

What is puzzling is that the author has registered here, but has zero posts? There are no references to MODx at all on his site other than the one event item on his home page. If I had a web blog/site and was the first person to publish a book on an emerging CMS powerhouse then I would be yacking about it all the time! His site runs on WP and there are no posts about MODx. My hunch is that he is on this forum but is using a different identity...

Looking forward to some reviews though. But odds are I will order the book as soon as its available.

PS: the photo of the stylish guy wearing the expensive dark suit on his website looks nothing like the picture of himself on his linkdin page???
