Book should be here in the first week or so of April. My understanding is that it’s been released to the printer.

Anyone had a chance to read this book? Any reviews on if it’s of any use or credible?
Thanks!
I’m currently mid way through and can express that the book reads well. The first chapter details the context of MoDx as a framework, Chapter 2 details the install process locally, chapter 3 details the admin panel and common configuration settings, chapter 4 teaches the reader on how to set-up templates (including TV binding) and configure a simple blog with Newspublisher. Chapter 5 looks at Authentication and Authorization.
The first half of the book is obviously targeted at new users. By chapter 4 users are building relatively complex sites. I’ve found the book offers alot of handy easy to access information within easy to follow step-by-step paragraphs. While a large chunk of the book will be irrelevant to users with experience in developing MoDx sites it still has value and acts as a handy reference. Being new to MoDx myself having only developed two live sites and several demos I found the book very useful, and can imagine that this book would have been invaluable as a new user.
While lots of quality material for MoDx can be accessed online it really is difficult to beat having a physical manual, I will be keeping this book to hand at all times, it’ll save hunting through all the internet based help pages.
To sum up: If your keen to support MoDx I’d buy this book, not just for the value of the content, but to support MoDx as a CMS as more books sold for MoDx will surly make it easier for new advanced level MoDx publications to be printed in the future. It will show that their is a strong demand for MoDx documentation and publishers love to fulfil a demand.

Thanks for that... I just wanted to get some idea as to what the content is about as I’m sure a few people will be interested.
@rossco You’ve done so much crazy stuff already! You need to buy a PHP book! PHP in a nutshell by Paul Hudson
is what I’m reading.
