Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction with this problem.
I’m looking to be able to edit a TV on a particular page using Ajax and some PHP.
So say i wanted to edit the menuindex, or even a custom TV on a page, how would i do that via the MODx API? I’ve looked about but haven’t had much luck.
Also is it possible to edit it from outside of MODx? Say in an external PHP file that i call via the JavaScript.

create a snippet, for TV-editing. You can use cakemodx:

create a (private) resource which calls that snippet
in your ajax-request call this resource-url
thats it.
