How do you guys use source control for your sites?
Revo will help with one source to rule them all -aka true multisites.
But until then how do you guys handle this? Beanstalk has a nice feature set. I was looking at them.

I am still reliant on good’ol FTP to manage sites files. I have been meaning to get an SVN setup going for the sites on my own server at least, but have not gotten around to it. Have heard of beanstalk, will check it out.
I am interested in this topic, keep us posted on what you find out.
BTW - I keep my installation lean by removing all of the files that I don’t need: language file, templates, wayfinder configs, manager themes, etc. You can drop @ 4MB and greatly reduce the FTP upload time.
Wow. Thanks for that link rick. That seems perfect for my new project. Absolutely perfect.
I’m going to use it on a larger collaboration project im shooting for.
and i want a better and simple way to handle my modx default install. Just to be more organized, prepared, DRY.
