Hello, I am running an older version 0.9.6.2 of modx, on an apache server running ubnuntu. Recently it appears some chunks have been missing, and I am not sure if database corruption could cause this. The tables had never been optomized so I went ahead and did that. Any ideas? Should I check the modx logs?
I know an upgrade is overdue, but if we exclude that for now, can you think of anything else to check, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian,
Use PhpMyAdmin and look in the modx_site_htmlsnippets table to see if they are really gone. If they’re really gone, you can look in the modx_manager_log table to see the ID of the user who deleted them (you can also see that in the Manager with more informative formatting). If they’re not gone, try repairing that table, then clearing the MODx cache (Site | Clear Cache) in the Manager.
You’ll probably want to get to the bottom of this before upgrading, if you can. You don’t want to upgrade an unstable install.
Thanks I will give that a shot and let you know.
