AJAX Search and ignoring containers...

So I’m setting up AJAX Search (AS) on my site. I’ve set the parent document where I want the search to be restricted to, but I’m not seeing anything in the AS documentation where containers can be removed from the search results. Has anyone else found the solution for this?

I suppose the easiest option would be to just uncheck "Searchable" for container documents.
