modx book, publish date?

I’m eagerly awaiting the publishing of the new MODx Web Development book by Antano Solar John (Packt). As the book was scheduled for March when can we expect the book launch.

I think this question should be asked directly to Packt

It was scheduled for March, so it may be released soon. They recently released a number of books, including one on Drupal 6, so it may be strategic timing

I recommend inquiring with them directly, if enough people manifest themselves it may pressure them to release asap. On Twitter https://twitter.com/packtpub.

They just told me via e-mail:

MODx Web Development is expected to release this month. I will let you know when it releases.

thanks for the update. I’ve emailed Packt this morning however have yet to receive any reply.

"The book “MODx Web Development” is expected to be published by end of March. "

I would imagine it will be the 31st, by the looks of my purchase receipt

He’s called Antono Solar John, or solar345 on the forums.

If its not up to the usual standard one would expect I’ll be sending it back However I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and hope for a good read

It is a little odd that a MODx expert that is capable of writing a book and is registered on the MODx forums has zero posts?

Maybe he is in "stealth mode" and is very active on the forums but under a different identity?

Active community members acted as technical review for a MODx book from Packt, I can only guess it was this one
