    Hi !
I found out about MODx not so long ago and think it’s a very clever product !

However, I am not sure how suitable it is for some of the projects I have.
One of them is essentially a comunity where people can add events and invite other users to these events. These events would take place in places stored in the database (with a google map integration) and users should be able to add new places, vote for them, leave feedback, etc...

How hard is it with MODx to let web-users create content and interact ? Should I stick to a more classical PHP framework like Zend or would MODx be a possible choice without having to hack the hell out of it ! grin

    Thanks for your help !
    Nicos

I can see this be done by some snippets - weblogin, google mapmarker, anyrating and jot. Then use a custom snippet
to add mapmarker documents based on NewsPublisher or NewsEditor front end... Or run SQL by eform2db snippet.

But this is advanced and I recommend to learn modx basics before hitting it...
